　　       1998年一支寄至电视台的出游DV影片，当时透过灵异节目播出后，轰动全台湾，当时尾随民众身后的不知名红衣小女孩，成了网路上讨论最热烈的灵异话题，随后一直不断有与这名穿红衣的小女孩有关的事件发生…《红衣小女孩》描述阿伟（黄河）是一个房地产经纪人，认真工作希望能与女友怡君（许玮宁）早日结婚。有一天，与他同住的奶奶（刘引商）失踪了。诡异的是，家里打扫过了衣服也洗好了，还替阿伟煮了早餐，但就是不见奶奶的踪影。毫无头绪的阿伟逐渐感到焦急，他打开奶奶平日用的相机，竟看到其中一段出游的影片中，有个诡异的身影跟在奶奶背后，像是个穿着红衣的小女孩，阿伟打从心底感到不寒而栗，没想到诡异的事情，开始接二连三地发生。
